Action 27:
Involve your place of worship

Launched November 16

Faith communities have historically played a significant role in promoting social justice. From volunteering to raising funds to engaging in small and large advocacy efforts, faith communities around the world are a powerful force to ending human trafficking.

  • Ask your pastor, priest or rabbi to invite a speaker from an anti-trafficking organization to speak to the congregation.
  • Recommend that your missions board or social outreach committee sponsor a human trafficking organization.
  • Ask your faith community to conduct a drive for clothing, supplies and other necessary items for local service providers.
